Great to have fresh herbs! This is an attractive self-watering planter. I put 5 small herb plants in here. So far they are doing very well. It did arrive missing a piece, which other people had mentioned as an issue. I contacted the seller & they instantly sent me the missing part. It seems to be solidly made. I won’t know how it really works until I’ve had it for a while. The soil seems to stay very moist. I don’t know if this is the type of soil or the design of the planter. I’m trying to let it really dry out…
I first discovered these self-watering planters at a garden show and I have purchased a few more through amazon. I love them. This herb planter is great! Bigger than I expected for some reason but I prefer that. There is actually enough room to grow big bunches of herbs, enough to keep growing AND eating 🙂 I only have parsley and basil in mine and keep it in a window for ample sunlight.
