They also created two others in this project named Lemon and Orange Spice. The original crossing was done with the Permagreen Bell pepper and the Early Jalapeno. The Chile Pepper Institute has always been successful of producing peppers with new colors. From a Culinary perspective they each have more fruitiness than the regular Jalapeno. And each one tastes different. The NuMex Pumpkin Spice has a good Jalapeno heat level.
