Absolutely amazing. . . But. . . I got this for Father’s Day, and I was immediately amazed at how a change in grinder could affect the taste of the same pepper. My 12 year old grinder was probably half the price of this one, and it did the job. Or so I thought. This is on a completely different level. It manages to extract 5 times the flavor from the same peppercorn. Even my wife agrees.The only reason I am not giving it five stars is b/c the first one was defective. Not A Quality Product I bought this in 2014. I considered it to be an “investment piece” for my kitchen. I am a scratch cook and love nice kitchen tools and gadgets. I wanted a nice matching set that looked great and worked great.I only cook 2 or 3 times a week, at most, so the set did not get a ton of daily use.
