  1. Vanilla oleoresin is not an extract. It technically falls into the absolute category, as do others. Notice the term oleoresin. You might notice the term absolute. For those of you doing beauty products, dabbling in aromatherapy, etc–do yourself and other consumers a favour–take classes in aromatherapy. Absolutes DO NOT dissolve in oils. If you ever bought true rose, Jasmine, or neroli–you would know they have been absolutes for many years as the petals cannot handle distillation.
