I Must Garden offers two distinctively scented and equally effective repellents – Mint Scent and Spice Scent. Both deer repellents contain eggs, fish oil and garlic – substances that by themselves repel deer. However, I Must Garden takes repellency to an even higher level by adding botanical oils from plants that deer won’t eat – plants such as peppermint, lemongrass, cinnamon and clove. Not only do the botanical oils from these plants make our repellents smell so much better, but these natural oils increase the effectiveness and longevity of the repellents.
The Spice Scent Deer Repellent has a fresh cinnamon-clove smell that gardeners love and provides effective year round control against deer damage. As with the Mint Scent repellent, clove and cinnamon oils have insecticidal, as well as repelling properties. Cinnamon oil also has anti-fungal properties. While the botanical oils used in the I Must Garden Deer Repellents are chosen for maximum effectiveness against deer, it’s nice to know there are other benefits.

Not only does it have a wonderful smell it has kept the deer away (they nearly destroyed my little garden). My veggie plants are recovering from the damage so about every 4-5 days I do a re-spray…
So far so good as far as keeping the deer away from certain … So far so good as far as keeping the deer away from certain plants that they devoured last year. The potato vine I have a planter was a deer favorite last year. This year it hasn’t been touched. I have some caladiums in pot on my porch that I sprayed just in case the deer wondered onto the porch, I’m not certain yet if this product affected them, but one of my caladium plants wilted substantially. The others have wilted somewhat. None of the other plants have been impacted. So, again it…
