Not Quite Sure About This Tea Updated Review I have mixed feelings about writing a review on this tea. I’m very impressed with what the company is trying to do and I want to support them in their efforts. Having said that I’m not sure that I like the tea. However, I’m wondering if I’m not brewing it properly. I’ve been experimenting with amount of tea used and time allowed for steeping. So, far I can’t seem to hit the sweet spot. It’s either been way to weak and flavorless or far too strong. One thing that gives me hope about the…
Darjeeling-esque I was curious about this because it received good reviews but is really inexpensive for a tea from Darjeeling. I liked this brewed at 1-1.5 teaspoons per cup, water at 185-190 F, for five minutes or even longer. The lower temperature allows more flavor nuances to emerge, as does a little milk. The bottom of the bag said that the tea was picked in October, making this a third or autumn flush tea, not a summer tea, as stated. This is what it tastes like, third flush teas are softer and deeper…
