With your herb seed garden kit you have everything needed to start growing. Germination is on average 5-15 days depending on variety and conditions with harvest around 25-60 days.

Nutrient pack and Peat Pellets – Peat pellets are normally void of any nutrition. They need to be fully hydrated and expanded which will then need to be mixed with the nutrition pack. This step is essential for optimal conditions for growth. Please follow instructions provided for nutrient pack. 

Growing – Our growing guide includes all the instructions needed to grow but we do recommend following these instructions and in addition adding a “lid” to your pots using a tiny bit of plastic wrap. This creates a semi greenhouse effect and povides optimal condition for your seeds to sprout. Once sprouted this “lid” can be removed and allow the seedlings to mature.

****Warning: Peat Pots – Peat pots are great vessels to start out your herbs but are not ideal for long term use. They are made from organic matter so please bear in mind that excessive over-watering may cause molding and not be desirable. We recommend to start your plants indoors but then transfer these pots into a garden bed or planting pot with more soil.

A unique space saving method for growing a variety of berries, vegetables, plants, and herbs indoors or outdoors – even out of season. Each level of planter contains three pots – 12″ (w) x 12.5″ (L) x 6″ (h) – to resemble a three-leaf clover of sorts. The tiers stack one atop the other in a zigzag fashion. Once fully vertical, the planter reaches 27″ high (approximately 2.25-feet). With solid depth in each pocket (holds 24 quarts of soil altogether), you can successfully grow up to 15 plants total with each 5-tier set you purchase.

Planter tiered sets are both easy to stack and to separate. Water the top tier and the water will drain out from the bottom and cascade onto the remaining tiers below.
